Please shift your electricity usage schedule yourself, such as doing laundry and ironing at designated times, or changing the charging time for your electric vehicle from the evening to a designated time period.

- If you are an electrified customer All Electric Nighttime Select Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use, the unit price of Power usage charge during the day is higher than the unit price of Power usage charge during the night, so if you shift your electricity usage from night to day, your electricity bill may increase. Please keep this in mind when participating in this plan.
For electric vehicles and electric water heaters, if we ask you to change the hours you use electricity and you shift accordingly, the difference in the unit price between daytime and nighttime will be reflected in your points. For more information, please see "Frequently Asked Questions."
The "Use It and Save! Eco Challenge" is a challenge to get people to use our electricity during times when supply from solar power generation is likely to exceed demand.
By shifting the amount of laundry and cooking that would normally be done at other times to the time periods covered by the challenge, or by changing the time that your electric water heater heats up, you can increase demand for electricity during the time periods covered by the challenge, which will lead to the effective use of renewable energy sources such as solar power.
- For customers who have solar power generation systems or storage batteries at home, the shifted electricity usage may be covered by these systems, which may not result in an increase in our electricity usage, making it difficult to succeed in the challenge.
- The supply and demand gap in the morning and evening (■ part) will be addressed by thermal power generation, pumped storage power generation, etc.
If you use each home appliance during the challenge time (shift your usage times), you have a chance of success!
Vacuum for 15 minutes
When applied, it is 0.25 kWh
Washing machine for 45 minutes
When turned on, it consumes 0.30 kWh
Iron for 30minutes
When multiplied, it is 0.70kWh
3 hours with EcoCute
Boiling water requires 4.11kWh
5 hours electric car
When charged, it is 15.00kWh
- Actual power consumption will vary depending on your usage environment, equipment, and usage conditions.
