Where to submit your application

If FIT certification is planned

If you have a contract with us for retail purchase (note), and would like to apply for equipment changes, please apply as follows. Please note that applications are only accepted for the addition or reduction of Power generation equipment that does not have a sub-meter installed.

  • If you have applied for re-instatement of your purchase contract after April 2017, this will be treated as a transmission and distribution purchase, so please submit the application to the transmission and distribution purchase destination.
  • For information on purchasing entities (retail purchase/transmission and distribution purchase), please check the latest "Notice of Purchased power amount."

When changing the name

When applying for a name change, please submit the following documents by mail to the reception operations group at your local contract fee center.

 

  • Application for sales of electricity from renewable energy Power generation equipment [low voltage] (for retail purchase)
  • As a document to prove that the change procedure has been carried out, the change approval notice must be a copy of the notification form with the acceptance seal of the Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
  • Business succession notification form

In the case of re-start (moving to a house with Power generation equipment installed and using electricity)

  • After we receive your application to start using electricity, please submit the following documents to the reception group at your local contract fee center by mail to conclude the solar power purchase contract.
  • A copy of the change approval notice or notification form with the acceptance seal of the Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry affixed as a document to prove that the change procedure has been carried out.

(For those who installed a measuring device themselves before March 2008)

(2) In the case of applications for high-voltage or extra-high-voltage Power generation equipment that are scheduled to obtain FIT certification

If there are any changes to Power generation equipment that have concluded a purchase agreement with our company, you will need to submit an application for technical review to our company.

If you are not planning to obtain FIT certification

If you would like to sell electricity to us without planning to obtain FIT certification, please contact us at the number of the office that has jurisdiction over your location.

  1. If you have no plans to obtain FIT certification and have no intention of selling electricity, please contact the electricity distribution company contact information listed below.
  2. If you wish to sell electricity to our retail division without planning to obtain FIT certification, please contact the Reception Group at your local Contract and Rate Center.

(3) In the case of an application for low-voltage Power generation equipment without plans to obtain FIT certification

If you are building new Power generation equipment that have signed a purchase agreement with us, you will need to submit an application for technical review to us.

  • When applying, please be sure to check the "Checklist of items to be checked when applying", which lists points to note when applying. Please submit one copy of the checklist with all boxes checked together with your application form.

(5) Battery interconnection

Customers who have signed a purchase agreement with us and wish to install solar power and storage batteries together should submit an application form to the reception operations group at their respective contract and fee center.

(Note) When installing a storage battery, you will need to apply for a supply contract (facility change) in addition to applying for grid connection.

(6) Interconnection of Power generation equipment with reverse power flow of less than 50 kW

For high-voltage interconnections where the reverse power flow from Power generation equipment is less than 50 kW, please use the following form.

 

In addition, in the case of "extra-high voltage interconnection" or "reverse power flow of 50 kW or more," connection consideration is required, so please submit a connection consideration application form to the reception operations group at your respective contract and rate center.
