Characteristics of Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use

  • Power usage charge are higher during the day, lower during Personal time, and even lower at night.
  • Daytime Power usage charge are cheaper in "other seasons" than in "summer."
  • While there is a limit to the fuel cost adjustment for "Residential lighting B and Residential lighting C," there is no limit for "Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use." Therefore, if fuel prices rise sharply, the fuel cost adjustment amount may be higher for "Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use." Therefore, depending on the customer's contract status and electricity usage, etc., even if a calculation that does not take into account the fuel cost adjustment amount would be more cost-effective, subscribing to "Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use" may not be more cost-effective. Please note that if you change from "Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use" to another Rate Plan, you will not be able to subscribe to "Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use" again.
