As a return gift for hometown tax donations to Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, we will deliver electricity with environmental value (Note) derived from the Yamakawa Power Plant (geothermal) located within the city.
- Environmental value refers to the value of electricity generated from renewable energy sources, etc., that has zero CO₂ emissions.
This plan delivers environmental value by using electricity derived from the Yamakawa Power Plant (geothermal) and non-FIT non-fossil fuel certificates (with renewable energy designation).
This plan offers a 10,000 yen donation to Ibusuki City through the Furusato Nozei (hometown tax) system, which includes 100kWh of environmentally friendly electricity generated at the Yamakawa Power Plant, and a 2,500 yen discount on your electricity bill. (Please see below for details.)

Even if you apply for multiple units, you cannot receive the rewards (note) for multiple units in the same month. The number of months for which the rewards are applicable will be extended according to the number of units applied.
- For every 10,000 yen donation (1 unit), you will receive: ① 100kWh of environmentally friendly electricity and ② 3,000 yen applied to your electricity bill.
(Effectively a 2,500 yen discount)
① If the actual electricity consumption during the applicable period is less than 100kWh, the actual electricity consumption will be the upper limit.
② If the electricity bill is less than the amount to be covered, the difference will be carried over and applied to the electricity bill in the following months.

- Customers subscribed to our residential Rate Plan (Notes 1, 2, 3, and 5)
- The donation to Ibusuki City for the relevant fiscal year, with electricity provided as a return gift, must have been completed (Note 4).
- Currently, we are not receiving electricity with a zero-CO2 emission value attached, which uses non-FIT non-fossil fuel certificates (with renewable energy designation) originating from specific Power generation equipment
- Applicable Rate Plan: Smart Family Plan, Smart Family Plan [Gas Set], Smart Business Plan, Smart Business Plan [Gas Set], All Electric Nighttime Select, Ohisama Daytime Discount Plan, JAL Electricity B, JAL Electricity C, Lighting by Season & Time-of- Use, Lighting by Time Slot, High-Load Lighting Plan, Lighting in Peak Shifts.
- Customers currently under Residential lighting B or Residential lighting C are also eligible to apply. However, Residential lighting Residential lighting Plan B customers will be required to agree to a change Rate Plan to Smart Family Plan (with 2-year contract discount), and Metered Electricity Plan C customers will be required to agree to a change in their rate plan to Smart Business Plan. In this case, the effective date of Rate Plan change will be the next Meter reading date after the contract is established.
- 「従量電灯B、従量電灯C」には燃料費調整に上限がある一方、「ふるさと再エネプランにご加入いただける対象の料金プラン（以下、対象プラン）」には上限がないため、燃料価格が高騰した場合には、「対象プラン」の方が燃料費調整額が高くなる可能性があります。そのため、お客さまのご契約状況や電気のご使用量等によっては、燃料費調整額を考慮しない試算でお得になる場合でも、燃料費調整額を含めた場合、「従量電灯B、従量電灯C」の方がお得になる場合があります。
- You must apply for both the "Hometown Renewable Energy Plan from Ibusuki City" and the "Hometown Tax Donation Procedure to Ibusuki City." Please note that applications from multiple people for the same demand location, or applications from the same customer for multiple demand locations, are not permitted. If the conditions are not met, your application may be canceled.
- Excluding areas covered by the remote island supply terms and conditions.

You can make a hometown tax donation to Ibusuki City through the platform operated by Machinowa Co., Ltd.
Kyushu Electric Power, Machinowa, and Ibusuki City will jointly use the customer's name, address, telephone number, and other information necessary for the purpose of confirming that the donation from the customer to Ibusuki City has been completed.
The contract is concluded upon approval by Kyushu Electric Power. In principle, the contract will be applied from the first meter Meter reading date in March after the contract is concluded until the day before Meter reading date in March of the following year. If your current contract is for Residential lighting Residential lighting Smart Family Plan, the change to Smart Business Plan (with 2-year contract discount) will be applied from the next Meter reading date after the contract is concluded until the termination of Rate Plan demand contract, upon approval by Kyushu Electric Power.
九州電力とふるさと納税両方の申込完了が必要です
Applying to Kyushu Electric Power alone or making a hometown tax donation alone does not complete the application process. The application is only complete when both procedures are finished and confirmed by Kyushu Electric Power.
Please be sure to complete your hometown tax donation through the Machinowa Hometown Tax Donation Platform.
- Please apply for a plan with Kyushu Electric Power first. After applying for the plan, you will be directed to the Machinowa Furusato Tax Platform. After applying, you can also make an additional donation via the banner above.
- Application period: From October 1st to December 31st every year
- Applicable period: From the Meter reading date the contract for this plan is concluded until the day before Meter reading date in March of the following year (Note)
- For customers on Residential lighting B or Residential lighting C who change Rate Plan to Smart Family Plan Plan (with 2-year contract discount applied) or Smart Business Plan, this service will be available from the date the contract for this menu is established until the next Meter reading date and until the termination of the supply contract.
