そろそろ考えなきゃ、と思っていたころに九電さんから案内をいただいたのが大きなきっかけです。
「これ以上先送りしても新しいキッチンを使える期間が減っていくばかりなので、今やろう」という気持ちで、リフォームを決めました。
これまではリビング側に大きな食器棚があり、キッチンとリビングの空間が隔てられていたのですが、これを機に対面型に変えてもらいました。
全体的な色味や素材は、選択肢が多くて迷いましたが、担当の方がショールームへ同行してくれて、実物を見て決めたのでイメージ通りの仕上がりになりました。
一番大きな変化は、対面型にしたことで部屋全体が格段に明るくなったことですかね。
また、 リビング側に目線がいき、家族の様子やテレビが見られるようになったのもありがたいです。
料理を出す際も孫が手伝ってくれて、自然に家族のコミュニケーションが増えました。
また、手が汚れていても簡単にオン・オフができる「タッチレス水栓」や「自動食洗機」を選んで初めて使ってみましたが、家事を効率化できて大正解でした。
