Customers who have signed a contract under the "Gas supply conditions"

 

  • Affected customers will be notified as follows:
    ・Customers who have confirmed their "Contract Details Notification" on "My Kyuden"
    The details will be announced on "My Kyuden" around the end of January 2026.
    ・Customers other than those listed above
    Notifications will be sent by mail in February.

Overview of the review

(1) Review of contract period

現在、「料⾦適用開始の⽇からその⽇が属する年度の（4⽉1⽇から翌年の3⽉31⽇までの期間をいいます。）の末⽇まで」を契約期間としておりますが、これを「料⾦適⽤開始の⽇から、廃⽌または解約によりガス使⽤契約が消滅する⽇までの期間」に⾒直します。
なお、当社が使用契約条件に定める契約種別を終了する場合は、上記に定める契約期間に関わらず、当該契約種別を終了する⽇とさせていただきます。

 

(2) Review of methods for giving notice of cancellation, etc.

当社は、お客さまが料⾦を⽀払期⽇を経過してなお⽀払われない場合等において、あらかじめお客さまにお知らせしたうえで、使用契約を解約することがありますが、このお知らせについて、お客さまが正当な理由なく受け取られない場合、お知らせのための書⾯を書留郵便にて発送し、書面を発送した⽇から 2 ⽇後にお知らせしたものとみなすことに⾒直します。  

 

(3) Other revisions

① Abolition of security deposits
In cases where the fee has not been paid by the due date, etc., a security deposit may be required prior to the commencement or resumption of service or as a condition for continued use. However, this provision will be abolished after the revision.


② Abolition of penalties for fraudulent use, etc.
In cases where gas was used fraudulently by tampering with gas facilities or other means, and payment of all or part of the fee was avoided, a penalty equivalent to three times the amount avoided was charged. However, this will be abolished after the review.


③ Deletion of the provision regarding the jurisdiction
The Fukuoka District Court was previously designated as the court of first instance with exclusive jurisdiction over lawsuits related to gas usage contracts, but this provision will be removed following the revision.
